Respite is important for caregivers. You may take respite by sending your loved one to a day care service or weekend-respite services. Home personal care also provides eldersitting service whereby the care professionals will engage your loved one in activities while you take a break.
You may need to access respite care unexpectedly. Planning ahead for respite care will help you to better care for yourself and your loved ones. You can pre-enrol for respite care ahead of time under the
Go Respite pilot programme, to shorten the time required to access respite care when you need it. Click

Alternatively, you may also join the Caregiver Support Network to focus on your own self-care, enjoy activities with other caregivers and share experiences. You may email
ccmh@aic.sg if you are keen to join any Caregiver Support Network.
