[For SSAs only] Complimentary Visits to Mandai Wildlife ReserveThe Mandai Wildlife Reserve (MWR) is home to Singapore’s wildlife parks including the Singapore Zoo, River Wonders, Night Safari, and Bird Paradise. The MWR has worked with the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) to offer complimentary admission to beneficiaries from eligible organisations that are Social Service Agencies listed under the NCSS. [For CCOs only] Therapeutic Horticulture Programmes in Therapeutic GardensThe National Parks Board’s Therapeutic Horticulture Programmes utilises nature-related activities in Therapeutic Gardens suitable for seniors and persons living with dementia. The activities include scent bag making, flower & leaf pressing, and leaf collage making designed to promote low intensity exercise, improve motor skills, stimulate memory, encourage positive social interactions, and promote mindfulness. Programme fees are waived for MCCY registered Voluntary Welfare Organisations, Non-Profit Organisations, Co-Op & IPC Organisations. [For CCOs Only] Therapeutic Horticulture WorkshopCommunity care staff and volunteers can participate in this free 1-hour workshop conducted by the National Parks Board to learn about Therapeutic Horticulture (TH) and how to conduct TH sessions with their clients.
