Community Care Conference 2020 Banner

Aligned with the national thrusts of moving beyond hospital to community, and beyond healthcare to health, the Community Care sector has become a vital component of Singapore’s health system. These shifts require “out of the box” thinking towards an interdisciplinary approach on the concept of elderhood and Community Care. As the focus is less on managing diseases but more on maintaining physical, mental, and social health, practitioners and policymakers must now integrate geriatrics with gerontological insights when planning services and interventions. This new paradigm is being presented for the first time in this forthcoming conference.

The scientific programme has been carefully curated to elicit fresh views and critique from international thought leaders and practitioners on Singapore’s efforts in helping our seniors prepare for their third and fourth ages through community engagement, infrastructure planning, and refinement of care models. We hope that the conversations at this conference will help seed ideas and inspire innovations within the health and social ecosystems.

The main conference runs from 14th to 15th February 2020.
Pre-conference workshops will be held on 13th February 2020.
