The INSIGHT Leadership Programme provides provides participants with a deeper understanding of key healthcare policies, the Community Care operating environment, and how to drive performance across organisations to work towards an integrated healthcare system. Special consideration is given to manpower, stakeholder management, and service excellence. 

The programme provides an excellent platform for participants to network with their peers across the Community Care sector and invaluable opportunities to engage senior policy makers from Ministry of Health (MOH) and Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF). This enriching experience is a must for every leader to reflect on the meaning of leadership in the sector.

INSIGHT Leadership is intended for current senior leaders who are holding key positions in the Community Care sector. Participants will typically be C-suites, Chiefs, Directors, Heads of Departments, and high potential candidates.

  • Enhance leadership style & capabilities with skills, tools, frameworks and insights to better lead and influence.
  • Insights into the changing and future healthcare and Community Care landscapes for better integration and collaboration.
  • Effective networking with fellow leaders in the Community Care and healthcare sectors.

Programme highlights include experiential leadership journeys and a dialogue session with PS(MOH), as well as panel discussions with DS(MOH), DS(MSF) and senior management from MOH and AIC.

MODULE 1: 
PEOPLE, YOU, AND TEAMS

Based on their own unique personality profile, participants will gain deeper insights into themselves, and consider motivations and meanings of leadership. They will learn how to lead high-performing teams and how to get and keep highgrade manpower to provide high quality and person-centered care. Experiential sharing sessions provide insights into leadership journeys of other leaders.

MODULE 2:
THE BIG PICTURE – SYSTEMS, TRENDS, AND CULTURE

This module provides insights on current policies and megatrends in Community Care in a big-picture view. Participants will develop an in-depth understanding of a wide spectrum of current and evolving issues related to Community Care, including fitting in and diversity in the workforce. Panel discussions with a wide range of stakeholders allow participants to better understand social and health integration and the role of the Regional Health System.

MODULE 3
POWER, POLICY, AND INFLUENCE

In the final module, participants will be empowered to translate their vision into action within the organisation. This means, influencing stakeholders regardless of how much formal authority one has over them, and leveraging various levers of power within hierarchies. Dialogue sessions with policy makers, and experiential sessions on leadership round off this module and provide participants with the tools to thrive within a complex network of stakeholders.
