|“Due to my diet restrictions, the Ambassadors from the Silver Generation Office went the extra mile to look for someone who could cook Indian food that could meet my dietary requirements. I am very thankful for their help.”|

|“After my husband passed away, I stayed at home most of the time and lost touch with the community. Thanks to the Pasir Ris Punggol team who have been encouraging me to join the exercise classes to keep myself active, I am once again able to make new friends and feel happy to be part of the community.”|

You can fulfil your desire to give back, even with a full-time job!
The flexible schedules and convenience of volunteering around the neighbourhood as Silver Generation Ambassadors makes it possible for Jasmine and Royce to both work and volunteer.
The young married couple, both 29, signed on as SGAs after they moved into their new apartment in a matured estate. They noticed that there are many seniors around, and wanted to help them.
After undergoing the basic training for ambassadors, Jasmine and Royce gained useful insights on various government schemes for seniors. They have been sharing information about the schemes they have learnt about with their loved ones and elderly relatives.
