This toolkit has been developed based on the learnings of working with various Community Care Organisations under two phases:
- The first phase of pilot started in 2021. A 6-month work trial was conducted to test the Community Care Associate (CCA) and Senior Community Care Associate (SCCA) roles.
- In 2022, the second phase of work trial for S/CCA roles continued with more CCOs coming onboard. A concurrent work trial was held to test the Community Care Executive (CCE) and Community Care Manager (CCM) roles, which form the supervisory and managerial levels in the Community Care Career Track.
A total of 433 CCAs and 80 SCCAs were trained under these two phases.
Roles implemented and scaled-up across 8 CCOs
Community Care Associate (CCA)

This toolkit includes the findings from our work trials, a step-by-step guide on how to implement the roles in your own organisation, as well as key learnings and case studies from CCOs who have trialled the roles.
