This toolkit has been developed based on the learnings of three key work trials:
- In 2021, a 6-month work trial was conducted to test the Community Care Associate (CCA) and Senior Community Care Associate (SCCA) roles, featuring 27 role holders, across 3 CCOs.
- The second work trial for the S/CCA roles continued in 2022, with a further 259 role holders (and counting), across 8 CCOs.
- In 2023, a work trial was held to test the newly-developed Community Care Executive (CCE) and Community Care Manager (CCM) roles, which form the supervisory and managerial levels in the Community Care Track. This work trial included a total of 14 role holders across 3 CCOs.
