For Middle-Level Management
IGNITE is a unique middle-level management programme customised to the needs of managers in the Community Care sector.
The programme is specially designed to equip participants with an overview of Singapore’s Community Care landscape, the various schemes, programmes, and services offered by the Ministry of Health and the Agency for Integrated Care.
IGNITE Programme targets new Managers and Leaders in the Community Care sector as well as those who would like to gain a better understanding of the sector’s key services and support available.
- Gain a better overview of the Community Care sector
- Enhance understanding of the key initiatives to develop capabilities of Community Care organisations.
- Raise awareness of the different services and schemes available to support seniors
Module 1 – Introduction to Community Care Sector
Participants will gain an understanding of the following:
- Singapore’s strategies to address the challenges and needs of an ageing population
- Different care settings in the Community Care sector and how they work towards building a holistic community for our seniors to live well and age gracefully
- Future development of the various care settings to suit the increasing needs of our seniors
Module 2 – Service Provider and Client Support
Participants will gain an understanding of the following:
- Overview of AIC’s quality initiatives as well as digitalisation efforts
- In-depth information on grant applications
- Overview of the community mental health masterplan
- AIC’s role as a referral agency for community care services
- Healthy Ageing initiatives and preventive care support
- Silver Generation Office’s role in facilitating ageing in place

Registration for the programme will be managed via the Community Care Learning Management System (CCLMS).
