Advance Skills And Confidence

IMPACT Leadership Programme is a unique mid-level management leadership programme customised to the needs of emerging leaders in the Community Care sector.

Programme Overview

The programme is specially designed to advance the skills and confidence in emerging leaders, to build commitment and translate strategies into effective actions in order to support and drive change towards a digital-first culture, together with your senior management in the ever-changing Community Care landscape.

Who Should Apply

Middle Management with minimum of 8 years working experience, of which 3 years in a managerial role.

Programme Objectives

IMPACT Leadership is a highly experiential and interactive five-day programme that aims to equip managers with an understanding of management and leadership as they transition from successful individual contributors to successful team leaders. The foundation of this is to create a “mental model” about performance combining constructive task achievement and compassionate people relationships with business acumen.

Participants will:

  • Develop leadership awareness and insights into their leadership style
  • Gain influence skills to drive positive change in their organisation to formulate and implement digital strategy
  • Understand how to foster esprit de corps and build a peer support network within the sector
  • Achieve sustainable results with accountability through responsible resource management
Programme Highlights

Programme highlights include a self-assessment, strategy, digital culture, leading and coaching, as well as a dialogue session with senior management from MOH.

Module 1 – Giving Direction: The Personal and the Community

To lead, one must give direction – and giving direction starts with oneself. Participants will be led through a self-assessment, and appreciate the crafting of strategy in a world beset by changing trends and a push towards digital first approaches. Leadership and coaching others as a form of leadership will be approached experientially.

Module 2 – Digital Strategy, Finance, and Change

In this module, participants take a deep dive into digital strategy and designing human centered service excellence. Finance through socially responsible decision-making is examined, with a MOH guest speaker deepening the session. The module is rounded off by considering culture both from the digitalisation and from the diversity and inclusion angles in the context of change and change management.
