Home care and centre-based services to replace Integrated Home and Day Care (IHDC) packages
IHDC packages are no longer available, and services under the package will now be provided via existing centre-based and home care services.
If you or your loved one is with an existing IHDC provider, the provider will work closely with you to apply for and receive centre-based and home care services before 31 March 2026.
Seniors using centre-based and home care services may be eligible for interim rebates from July 2025, and enhanced subsidies from July 2026. More details here.
